🔧 Lead Engineer, Hydro

You play a pivotal role in the technical success of hydropower projects. You’ll lead the design team and ensure the implementation meets all technical, commercial, and scheduling requirements. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Overall technical planning and coordination of projects
• Understanding customer needs and translating them into technical solutions
• Supervising, prioritizing, and approving the work and documentation of the design team
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and regulations
• Identifying and managing technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Leading test processes such as FAT and SAT
• Collaborating with customers, contractors, project management, and internal departments

This role suits a professional who thrives in a responsible, decision-making position and enjoys influencing the quality and direction of projects from the start.

What we expect from you:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• Strong background (at least 5 years) in electrical design and hydropower projects in the Nordics
• Proven skills in leadership, project coordination, and scheduling
• Solid understanding of industry standards, laws, and safety regulations
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and see the big picture
• Fluency in Finnish or Swedish and English
• Willingness to travel within the Nordics

⚙️ System Engineer, Hydro

You will contribute to the electrical design of hydropower projects and ensure the solutions are both high-quality and cost-efficient. You’ll take part in both technical tasks and project coordination. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing technical solutions in collaboration with the Lead Engineer
• Preparing and maintaining project-specific documentation
• Supporting testing and commissioning activities
• Monitoring design progress and managing changes
• Working closely with the Lead Engineer and Project Manager to solve technical and scheduling challenges
• Ensuring smooth project execution in cooperation with internal teams, customers, and contractors

This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled individual looking to deepen their expertise through meaningful, hands-on project work.

What we expect from you:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• At least 2 years’ experience in electrical design of hydropower projects in the Nordics and use of design tools
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a design and project team
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and clear technical communication
• Fluency in Finnish or Swedish and English
• Willingness to travel within Finland and other Nordic countries
